FAQs

What is Supportive Housing?

Supportive housing is permanent, affordable housing linked to services

Where is the New Beginnings Center?

Although we have housing all over North Carolina, our central community is New Beginnings Avenue, named after us in 2007, located in Gastonia, NC.

What services does New Beginnings Center provide?

Our permanent housing community provides educational training, HIV/AIDS awareness seminars, youth activities, NA/AA meetings and other community services. We are currently in need of a 12 passenger van to provide our residents with transportation for medical appointments, shopping, etc.

How is New Beginnings Center different from a shelter?

New Beginnings is a safe, permanent home. We provide all furnishings and living necessities.

How do I donate?

Please visit our “Donations” page for more information.  We have a current list of items we need. All donations are tax deductible.
